InstaFriday

life rearranged
It's that time again! I'm linking up with Jeannett at LifeRearranged to share all of the silly, sweet and fun little moments of our lives. Take a peek...

Grayson will be one next week. His hair is getting so long. I'm considering getting it cut but I'm really nervous about him staying still. After dinner on Tuesday he put his hands in his hair which made his hair a sticky mess. Rather than give him a bath I just went with it and made it look intentional. So cute!

Aidan has t-ball on Tuesday nights and soccer on Wednesday nights. He definitely prefers t-ball which makes sense because he has had so much more experience with it. Soccer is harder for him but he is still having fun.

This week I was that annoying mom who made everyone wait so I could grab a picture of Aidan before he had his first at bat.
Grandma and Grandpa gave Aidan a children's dictionary and encyclopedia they found in their basement. We have already spent hours pouring over the contents so Aidan can be "smart" for when he starts Kindergarten. The child is counting down the days until school starts. Last night we read all about the brain.

I will admit I have been very absent from my little blog this week. With Gray's party coming up I have been  busy crafting and planning and crafting and planning. and crafting. Did I say crafting? I made this little tie banner. I love it.

More crafts...

And props... (PS. you know Tommy looks adorbs here!)

I had an upper endoscopy this week. Not fun but not the end of the world either. In fact, it was quite a nice little nap.

Our neighbors invited us over for smores and before we knew it ALL the kids were over. Isn't that what summers about though? Staying up late, hanging out with friends and eating smores? I think so.

We took Grayson to the zoo for the first time and had a blast. It was super hot out though, so he was a little sluggish. Also, I learned that it is near impossible to take a "normal" picture with the boys. Believe it or not, this was the best one. Gray isn't looking and Aidan has his hand on his head.... but it works.

We are lucky enough to have family that lives close by so when the mood strikes to have date night we can usually find someone to watch our littles. We were over due for some alone time so we headed out for dinner and drinks.

Dinner= fish tacos. If I could only choose one thing to eat for the entire summer I would pick fish tacos and guacamole. They are so so good!

Doesn't the sky look beautiful here? We were heading to my favorite place after dinner... home!!
Happy Summer!!
